Guest guest
<< , 12, EE, several food allergies, will be having another endo on Dec. 2nd. This will be the one to see if the 12 weeks of flovent worked. Last Saturday, we think, had a stomach virus. He started vomiting around 7pm after feeling nausea for a while. He vomited evey hour till about 4:30 Sunday morning. then he vomited at 7:30 am, then 2:30pm after eating an apple. He had no stomach pain or anything. Since then, he has had mild lingering nausea when he wakes in the am. sometimes burning in his chest. It has been getting better. My questions, Since his symptoms have increased since the vomiting episodes, do you think they are related to the EE? Also, Will the vomiting have caused his esophagas to become inflamed again if the flovent did work, will 2 weeks after the vomiting be long enough for the esophagas to heal from the vomiting? Thanks, Cathy >> , 12, EE, several food allergies, will be having another endo on Dec. 2nd. This will be the one to see if the 12 weeks of flovent worked. Guest guest
Hi Cathy, I am glad your son is feeling better. I think I would call the doctor and ask if the two weeks is long enough. It would probably be easier to reschedule now than to wait until closer to the appointment. I would think that vomiting that often for that long would indeed irritate his esophagus. This is just an educated guess, but I hope it helps. I hope he continues to feel better and that the Flovent has worked.
