Guest guest
Hello there fair whether friends of mine...... Well, I am not sure if you guys knew what has been going on the past few weeks. Spencer was in the hospital with a terribly bad blood infection, that was also seeded in his line. They finally threw away the last set of cultures today b/c they were neg. a 5 days. We went to Cinci to put his G/J tube back in and he can barely even tolerate 5 cc's an hour. His gut is just not working well at all. We saw Dr. Bum Bum (as Spencer calls him) and he said 40-60% chance it will come back in the next week if it truly was seeded in his line. The plan is to try to save his last vein in his chest. I was told that he has this vein right now and only the two down the groin and then the dreaded through the liver. If he does indeed have a line infection back then they will put him out and try to save it and then do colonoscopy/endoscopy and move his G-tube up higher on his stomach. B/C when the lame folks in Utah gave him a G-tube they put it so low on his stomach that we can only inflate the balloon to 4 cc's of water and it is always popping out and also making him sick cause it will get lodged into his pyloris. Let's just hope for the best here........thanks for listening.
