Guest guest
Sorry I have not posted since our last " panic " note. As most of you probably know, my panic was not unfounded. I called 911 about 9 a.m. Fri and after arriving at the local hosp, Kody was transferred to the PICU at Fairfax Hospital with what turned out to be a " huge, adult-sized crater " (enormous bleeding gastric ulcer). He required transfusion and 2 days in the PICU. He is on the reg floor today. We are hoping it will not re-bleed (I guess it is a 48 hour wait). Fortunately, since he is already on TPN, we dont have to worry about thefood issue. THey think the GT started it, and it just progressed from there. He also still has the high fevers intermitently and when he comes home will be on Vancomycin (help from your TPNrs requested here). Sorry for the cross postings. Ill keep in touch better when we get home. THANK YOU for your prayers. SJHarlow@... http://www.c4isr.com/harlow
