Guest guest
Hi All, 's biopsies looked very good after the prednisone trial. So we now feel that we are certain we are dealing with food allergies. Here's the questions, since has absolutely NO outward symptoms, and since he has tested negative to three different allergy tests, how in the world do we find out what foods he is allergic to? Do they scope them after they inroduce each food? We have an appointment with a different allergist on Dec. 23. The first allergist we went to told us he was 99.9% certain that allergies could never cause the kind of esophageal damage that has. has been off steroids for 3-4 weeks and the other night he got a " traffic jam " while eating. Guess he's all inflamed again. , how are they determining which foods Dan is allergic to? As I recall he did have some foods that showed positive on RAST testing. What's the long term plan for him as far as eating, scoping etc. Take Care and have a happy Thanksgiving
