Guest guest
Hello All, I think that Jill brought up some interesting questions. The effectiveness of any treatment varies per person, but usually will follow suit. Especially were RLS is concerned the variables are numerous. I personnaly would like to know why some people do well on " Parkinson " meds and others do better ( like myself ) on the anti-convulsant/seizure type meds?! Is there a difference in our Dopamine levels, is one type more prone to the side-effects than the other? Because from what I know myself and from what I've read from others is that there seems to be a violent reaction to either type of med classification. Then just to spice things up, some people tolerate both!! It just seems that most people appear to fit into one catogory or another. Maybe Dr. Levin can shed some light on this. I have another question to throw out there,- what percentage of people who have RLS/PLMD end up developing Fibromyalgia ? This would be because of sleep deprivation and the ramifications there of. There seems to be a numerable coralation between the two. Inquiring minds want to know!!? I have not checked this e-mail address yet but hoping it flies through- Take care le R.I. P.S. Jill, it would take a bit of research re meds being proph or prn and even some of those can also be prn. If I had a computer I would do it for you and all, but lack of equipment leaves me lacking-did I just say that LOL
