Guest guest
Hey Everyone - A question from a lurker: Does anyone else always have " dark circles " around their eyes ? More exactly, where the bridge of the nose blends into the eye sockets where your tear ducts are. I *always* have them, I have even applied some of my wife's make-up when going on a job interview or other first-impression dependent meetings. Rarely, they almost go away, but usually they are quite dark. I (think I) have mild / infrequent symptoms and have not wanted to be evaluated or medicated, I do realize I may have to sometime. Anyway, what causes this and is there anytihng I can do about it ? I get about 6-7 hours a night, but wake up feeling like I just laid down. Sleeping late on the weekends doesn't seem to help with the eyes, but I'm usually in a better mood(or I'm in a bad mood if I don't get to sleep in, take your pick). Sorry to be so wordy about a minor thing - Steve
Guest guest
Hi steve, I too have dark circles under my eyes and cannot seem to get rid of them either. I am getting better sleep now than I have for about 5 years ... but dont know how to get rid of them. I was thinking that it may be due to age... im 46 ... If you find something that helps, let me know. thanks 46 So. Calif > A question from a lurker: Does anyone else always have " dark circles " around their eyes ? Guest guest
Yes, I do have dark circles, almost all of the time. And they are certainly worse when I have not slept well. However, I think they are mostly related to my upper respiratory (sinus and nose) allergies. My daughters allergists used to call them " allergic shiners " .
