Guest guest
Dale I know exactly what you are talking about, I remember once asking a doctor if it was possible for a bone to itch cause I felt like my bones were itching in my legs and I would have to rub them really hard to get any relief, and of course he looked at me like I had lost my mind... on another subject, I have read here and there people posting and saying how hard it is to get medication cause it is expensive, cant afford it, etc. I have come across some info that might help...apparantly not all drug manufacturers do this but some do. You apply for medicaid first, and if they turn you down, you get a copy of this rejection, take it to your doctor and have him apply for you for one of the patient assistance programs. Some of them will then give you the medication for free. You would have to check with each manufacturer separately to find out what each of their requirements are. Your doctor has to initiate the correspondence with the drug manufacturer. Now I only know for sure this works with pain medications, but I dont see why it wouldnt work for other meds as well. Anyway, check it out. meg
