Guest guest
, you wrote: " I used to just deal with them {RLS symptoms} and accept them as my own private thing that no one else understood. " WOW!!! That sounds like such bizarre thinking!!!! But guess what? I can identify!!! It's a strange thing, to have something that no one understands, and to just " accept " it as something you have to work around. I guess what I did was I kept changing my habits without realizing it...sitting on aisle seats, not reading books anymore, working on the computer while others watched television, jumping up and doing dishes in the middle of card games, going to bed AFTER hubby was asleep so he didn't touch my legs or try talking.....etc. etc. NOW, instead of subconsciously changing my lifestyle to fit the RLS, I'm like you...mad, demanding of a better life, and determined to be in control of the RLS, rather than have it control me. It's just strange how " finding the name for it " or " realizing others have it, too " can make you less complacent. Interesting observations you made. Thanks for sharing.
