Guest guest
, if the shoe fits, wear it. (old American saying) Do not blast Dr. Levin for being direct and honest with you. I also like to drink, but I know that alcohol and rls are partners in crime together. Anything after 7 or 8 at night is a guarantee that rls will be my nightly companion. It's our choice, and, if Dr. Levin is reading this, I wish he would realize how valued he is, and not let other people's irrationalities " get " to him. Impairment of judgement is a consequence of the over-use of any drug, whether it be legal, illegal, or recreational. Think about this , as it pertains to your over-reactive and defensive response to Dr. Levin. ne, 58, Lawrenceville, NJ On Sat, 31 Oct 1998 18:42:09 -0500 " L. This message is being sent both ways. If the changeover in the net is responsible for making my message to you general info, there is nothing that I can do to remedy that. Where you read a puritanical hatred of booze in my message is beyond me. I still drink a martini for lunch but can't handle alcohol after 6 because of what it does to my RLS. I wish I could. Like a fool, I was warning you about combining alcohol and benzodiazepines. This combination can be lethal. As far as telling you what you can and cannot do. At this point, I could care bl--y less. Do whatever you want to do! This net has become mired down in drivel lately with endless, inane, self-serving speeches and resultant hurt feelings. I had promised myself not to get involved in this garbage but I was worried about your welfare. So, I responded to you personally to warn you that you were playing with fire. This is what I get in return. Not to worry, mate, it won't happen again. I am out of here for several weeks before I blow my cool. You all know my E-mail address in case you have any problems I could help with. Dr. Levin Dr. Levin
Guest guest
Shirley Right on! Poor is obviously more concerned with the idea that someone might find his behavior adolescent (perhaps he is and should be forgiven for his sutpidity) than he is with his own self presevation. I can understand Dr. Levin's reaction to 's response but he should remember all the folks on this board who have come to rely on his judgement and contribution. They should be valued much higher than one dumb response. Think of as an errant teenager who hopefully will grow up some day and simply place his response on the trash heap where it belongs.
