Guest guest
Don't ask me why RLS is in " Psychiatry " Times! I haven't seen this article reported here - if this is a repeat, I apologize. I received my copy of Night today and it reccommended: Restless legs syndrome: epidemiology and diagnosis by http://www.mhsource.com/psychiatrictimes.html It is 11 pages long and quite interesting, I thought. Guest guest
Hi Group: I checked this article, and no, I had never read it before. I just thought that I would add the direct URL for the article, as I had to search for it using the URL that was provided. It is a good article, and I want to thank Barbara for letting us know about it. The link to the article is: http://www.mhsource.com/edu/psytimes/p980614.html Jodi Barbara & Harry wrote: > > > Don't ask me why RLS is in " Psychiatry " Times! Guest guest
The RLS is probably in the Pschiatry Times because psychiatrists are board-certified in psychiatry and neurology. As a matter of fact, I see my shrink to deal with my RLS also. Thanks for the tip on the article. Will read it.

Guest guest
I agree completely. My sleep doctor is a Clinical Psychologist and I have gotten the best treatment since I began seeing her last April that I have ever had. She is knowledgeable in all sleep disorders and treatments, well, except Mirapex, and that was several months ago. I was the one that brought that one to her attention, and she agreed to let me try it. Unfortunately, she informed me at our last visit, that she was going to be changing her practice and only seeing children with sleep disorders. She wanted her involvement with the Sleep Disorders center to be part-time because she is involved with several other facilities, and she has been overwhelmed with patients. She made her decision after realizing that there were so few physicians that treated children with sleep disorders, and far too many children who have them. So, I'm either going to have to start seeing one of the M.D.'s in the Sleep Disorders center, or go back to my primary care physician. We'll see, after my last appointment, which is the 21st of this month. Why do I feel like I'm heading back to " square one " ? Guest guest
Hi jodi, It's hard enough finding a good doctor you like, only to loose her/him for one reason or another ........that hurts! May I suggest you ask her if she could recommend another doctor for you, Good luck, Meg
