Guest guest
In reply to Fstankie, I also take oxycontin, and find that it does not always work well for me either, and my doctor always acts very surprised but its not uncommon I think. Number one, I get tolerant to my dosage quickly and have to be upped every other month or so. Also, it does NOT work 12 hours for me and never has. I have to take it 3 to 4 times a day for any relief, and still often need " breakthrough " faster release pain pills in between. I dont know what kind or amount of pain you suffer from, but it may be that you need your dose raised, or you need to take it a little more often, or maybe it just doesnt work well for you. Talk to your doctor about it, mine has been pretty good, if they will prescribe it at all then they are usually ok about keeping it at a level that works for you. On one other subject, I agree with , that incident is long over and had been apologized for and misunderstandings were straightened out and now the matter ought to be dropped. Like he said, we are all learning here and we all have days when we might take something a little bit out of context especially when a mistake is made like in his situation where a personal email was accidentally posted. I am still pretty new here, so I hope I am not stepping out of bounds but maybe we all need to lighten up a little on each other and on ourselves, we are only human and most of us sleep deprived humans at that! meg
