Guest guest
Hello, June.......... My name is Connie. I'm 61, and arthritic, as you are. I can certainly relate to your problems there. You know, I hadn't thought about how awful it would be to have to use a wheelchair with rls..........God, that would drive me insane! I live in the Baltimore area and our Dr. Levin lives in the DC area. I'm sure he will be able to come up with some names for you. I may even be able to find something in my Power Sleep book. It sounds like you've tried several meds.........I also am on Neurontin. I used to take Klonopin, but stopped in August. A lot of people in our group have had good success with Mirapex. Maybe you will want to give that a try after you find a new doctor. You seem to have rls pretty bad if you have it during the day and it feels like it's in your stomach. It's such a wretched affliction, isn't it? I've had such a hard time this evening trying to figure out if my leg and foot pain is a result of my rls or arthritis. This is the second time I've been up tonight. Hopefully I will be able to get some sleep next try. It's been a rather bad day. I'm glad you got in touch with us, June. I'm sure there will be many others in the group who will have something interesting and helpful for you. Hope you are able to get some decent sleep tonight. Keep in touch, Connie
