Hi Everyone,

First off, I am a fifth grade teacher with a Teddy in my class, and after

reading your letter, Andy, I vow to try harder with him, and more

importantly, to try something different, as what I have been doing hasn't

been working very well. Less irritation, and more compassion for

starters.

Secondly, in response to Pamela " s question about sleep studies, my

neurologist started me on sinemet, and said a sleep study would be

required if it didn't help. I like this reasoning, because I think there

is a lot of unnecessary testing going on, especially when insurance is

there to pick up the tab. I have better things to do than spend time

being diagnosed for something I already know I have. The sinemet did

work for quite a while, but due to daytime rebound, I switched to

mirapex, which is probably as close to a cure as I'll ever see in my

lifetime. Pamela, you are wonderful to research this for your patients,

as we are all kind of medical " teddies " .

Lastly, I can't access the picture page anymore. Jodi, is there a new

address for this? I love connecting all the names and personalities with

the corresponding faces!
