Guest guest
On the subject of persistent itching.... First, of course, question whether it's being CAUSED by any medications. Maybe ask your pharmacist, or go back and read the info on whatever you are taking. THEN...figuring it's NOT an allergy or a reaction to medicine...it just might be that overall dry air/cold weather itch that so many of us get this time of year. I've known several people who experienced it, especially in the Fall each year. The best thing we found was, a sesame oil that's made by Neutrogena. You can buy it in your grocery/drug stores. It's in a clear tall bottle, golden transparent oil, labelled: " Body Oil...The Sensual Moisturizer...Light sesame formula " . It's not cheap....possibly around $10 for an 8oz bottle...but it's worth it. But WAIT!!! The important thing is to read the instructions on it. You shower, or do your bath and then you barely pat yourself dry...leaving your skin very damp. Then, put the oil all over. It covers easily and really isn't too greasy or oily. Give it a try. It's great stuff. Ohhhh, and did I mention that it works best if while you're rubbing it around, you be sure to be sucking on a Tootsie Roll Caramel Green Apple sucker????? *smirk* (It's an 'inside' joke, guys....for any new members of the list, just email me and I'll explain it.) Hope you itchers get relief, Jill, 46 Payson, AZ http://www.netzone.com/~gunzel/rls.html
