Hi Barbara,

I take two tablets of 0.125 mg of Mirapex an hour before I go to bed. I

started with one, and worked my way up to two in about two weeks. At first I

had a little augmentation behind my knees, frequent urination, and increased

appetite. These symptoms went away after a few weeks.

And then I noticed that it stopped being effective, but I continued to take

it, and it started working again. I also use a massager called the Thumper,

for ten minutes on each leg, before I go to sleep. This really helps my legs

settle down. Since I travel quite frequently, I take an extra Mirapex before

a flight, and that has really been effective.

I am feeling so much better now. I still have trouble sleeping, so

occasionally I do take a Tylenol PM. But I will trade some insomnia any day,

then have to live with the constant suffering from RLS. I hope this helps.

Sweet Dreams, Elaine, Malibu
