Hi , welcome to this group.I am sitting at my compu 6.30 am, my

sinemet works also a few hrs.No Mirapex here in Holland.A lot of rain

though.

Did you get the websites with info on medical and nonmeds treatment from

Hello My name is ,this is my first post here. I was rxed with rls 4

months ago ,been taking sinemet cr . I had a sleep study tuesday night it showed

the sinemet wares off after about 4 hrs . show now I am trying a drug called

mirapex. would like to know if anyone has tryed it. 37

I have been on Sinemet for 9 months. At night, I take a regular 25/100

Sinemet, around 9 or 10PM, and then when I go to bed, I take a 25/100 CR,

which takes about 2 hours to kick in, and then I have 4 or 5 hours after that

for it to work. How much Sinemet are you taking? If you can take it, and it

does the good, I believe that it is one of the best on the market, with the

least side effects. You just have to find the right dosing schedule. And, no

taking it during the day. There can be augmentation, (symptoms during the

day), after awhile, and that is when I take a drug holiday from it, for 5

days. And then you are back to your original dosing schedule.

Others are on Mirapex, or something else, so I am sure you will hear from them

also. And some have had good results. Seemingly some people can take certain

drugs, and others cannot. What I mean, is, that the RLS goes away, and you

have tolerance for the drug.

Welcome to the group, you are with a bunch of really nice people who are very

interested in you and how you are doing. Do please keep us posted on how you

do on your meds. I don't take mirapex, but it sure seems to work for a lot of

people.
