Guest guest
Dear Barb, Unfortunately I have no personal experience with Permax, but I have had *PLENTY* experience with total sleeplessness for days on end, and the anxiety and helplessness that goes with it. Listen, hon. Take a deep breath, make some herbal tea, get someone on the phone to talk it out, and then call that doc! It's ok...you're ok. Please don't kill yourself! Things always look *AND* feel a million times worse when you've not slept in days, and you feel like a medical ping-pong ball. I don't know if you're still online, but if you are, just sit back, take a few deep breaths, sip some *NON*-caffeinated tea (I can vouche for Tension Tamer!), have a good cry, and call up your best friend in the world. Really, Barb, it'll be ok. Just the medical merry-go-round we *ALL* are so familiar with. What is a miracle drug for one, may be a nightmare for others. We are all God's individual creation, and you must find what works for *YOU*, which may not be what works for me. Stay calm and relax. You feel like hell, but you'll get through this, I promise. We've all gone through what you're feeling now. Hang in there, we're pulling for you! Jeff Co. Spgs. Guest guest
Wow, I'm sorry to hear that the Permax hasn't helped. What is the dosage that you're taking? Maybe you're not taking enough. Hang in there and don't give up. I've been where you are now and know what you're feeling and it's really desparate. Get hold of your doctor right away (if you haven't already). Keep us in touch. We care. We really do!! Jeanne and Mr. Biggles in Poultney VT
Guest guest
Yo, Barb, In some cases you " hit a wall " and then you seem to be able to cope a little while longer. Talk to us because statements like that does no one good. You vent away, but we don't want to loose anybody. And that's an order!
