Guest guest
The question has been asked several times on this net about the use of Tasmar, a recently FDA approved drug for Parkinson's disease, in the treatment of RLS. Since it was designed to work in instances of high dose requirements of Sinemet, I felt that it had little use in treating RLS. According to the Associated Press, the FDA has become aware of three deaths in the world from liver failure associated with Tasmar. The FDA has not asked for withdrawal of the drug, but has required a strong warning on the label that liver failure has been noted. I think that this removes Tasmar from consideration as a drug for RLS under any circumstances. Dr. Levin
