Guest guest
How many of you kept a sleep log for the first two weeks of November? I have only received a few. If you kept a sleep log, please send it to me (fax, snail mail, email). My fax number is . The address is: Clifford Massie, PhD Suburban Lung Associates 810 Biesterfield Rd. Suite 404 Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 I will probably request to do this again, as I am very much interested in the information- tabulating the data and presenting it to the group. Wanted to let you all know that our RLS support group of Chicago western suburbs is meeting this Thursday. We are having a dietician speak (on iron deficiency, iron supplementation and other general issues). I hope to have a pharmacist at the next meeting. Now for a clinical question. We saw a patient today who has had her RLS symptoms well controlled on Sinemet for over a year. She has a history of severe depression and recently switched to Serzone. Her RLS symptoms became markedly worse 4 weeks ago when she began taking Synthroid. My thought was that the RLS had simply progressed and/or augmentation had begun. I am not aware of any connection between Synthroid and RLS- any thoughts? Thanks! Dr. Massie
