Guest guest
Dear RLS family, I am on day 12 of no Paxil (dr. cold-turkeyed me instead of titrating down - I have no idea why.) It has been a VERY difficult transition to SERZONE. I feel like I have maximum PMS every day. I wasn't sure about the Paxil causing RLS, but just wanted to switch my SSRI anyway. My point: make sure YOUR doctor slowly weans you from PAXIL. I'm like a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown, if you saw the movie! Colette, 52, RLS & Fibro, most days with migraines - I'm sick of it!!! ha! ps I was on Stadol for migraines, and it has such a 'bad reputation " - ha! I never had problems with IT as I've had going off Paxil... The Stadol opiate nasal spray for migraines really helped with my RLS, although I started relying on it for energy - like getting myself to the grocery store, etc., and knew that was the wrong road to take.
