BUT - I slept last night without having an ear awake listening for Mum wandering about, and I feel like a new person this morning - at work, and may make it til lunchtime without falling asleep at the keyboard. Guest guest
It's 5:34 AM EST and I've been awake all night. I tried the hot soak, listening to music, eating crackers and milk and just lying there trying to bore myself to sleep. Nothing worked. Last evening I had to drive in to Rutland to hear a Doctor speak on heart problems, change of lifestyle etc. I listened intently but heard nothing new though he did make me apprehensive describing how heart disease progresses. I had driven in the dark.....it was raining......it's deer season (hunting), and it's also rutting season so I had to be ever careful about seeing deer crossing the road. It's 23 miles to Rutland so by the time I got home I was a fibrillated nerve end.The whole evening wasn't worth the effort. It would have been worth it if he'd talked in some detail on how to change one's lifestyle, how to go about becoming a vegetarian, what moderate exercises are helpful etc. Ah well, I have less than two hours before Mr Biggles bladder must be emptied so I'd better see about gettin a few ZZZZZ's. My legs are fairly quiet. Jeanne and Mr. Biggles in Poultney VT
