Guest guest
Cont. to Swanky, when you said that you needed to take three Vicodan instead of two. When faced with these difficult situations, I really feel that it's paramount to learn some techniques and other skills to take care of ourselves when we run out of medications. Eventually, either by a drug holiday, or some other unforeseen circumstances, we will be without medications. What is our plan for that? Is it not better to use as many techniques possible so that our medications will continue to work for us? It is so difficult for the average physician to ascertain if a person is drug seeking, or indeed needs these types of medications. But they have a very high potential for abuse, and DR's get worked over all the time, by addicts who abuse them. So, does your Physician think you might be drug seeking? Is it a valid concern? Or is he unsympathetic to your needs, in which case, a frank discussion needs to take place. I really have come to care about my friends in the group, and I don't want you guys to take this medication thing to the edge like I did. It's been a painful journey to come back from there, and it takes everything G-d and I have, to stay on solid ground. Fond wishes, and Good Sleep!
