Guest guest
Hi Tina: I think you aren't getting any rls mail because everybody is gone for the holiday. Or almost everybody...I'm still here and so is Marleen. Couldn't agree more regarding those expensive sleep studies. We KNOW what's wrong, what we need to know is how to fix it. What a good guy your podiatrist is! That was a real break and very resourceful of you I might say. It does amaze and dismay me though to read about the quantity of medications being taken for the rls condition as I read it on this e-line. I am amazed that anyone can tolerate multiple dosages of three or four different medications in a single day without uncomfortable side effects. At the same time I sure know the discomfort and how when " the crawlies " come on you'd do just about anything to get out of it. I gave up the half pill of Ultram three weeks ago. I do lots of night walking now and grab my sleep when it (finally) comes. I don't have to work so I can live with whatever sleep comes my way whenever it does. I think my waking hours (what's left of them) are more productive and I am more mentally alert without the Ultram which I count as a worthwhile tradeoff. So Tina, that's my " semi-good news " .
