Guest guest
Hi Muriel Permax worked for me for several years with good relief before losing its effectiveness. Others have been on it for many years. Its early side effects are nausea and rhinitis with nasal stuffiness. Frequently, these will become less over time. Its certainly worth a try. Prozac is well known to aggravate RLS, as are most antidepressants. Dr. Levin
Guest guest
I am a new subscriber to the list but I have had this restless leg syndrome for eight years. It took about two years before I found out what I had. Not by a doctor but a article in Modern Maturity. The only thing that has given me relief is Darvocet but I have been taking it for too long and so I finally went to a Doctor who specializes in sleep disorders. Right now, I am taking Permax .025mg and I just started taking this. Has anyone had any experiences with this drug? Also, I have been taking Prozac for a while and I am wondering if that is contributing to the restless leg problem. This is my second drug to try. I first had sinemt which made me sick and spacey and then I got augmentation. I could use some answers. Thanks. Muriel
