Guest guest
Hey , A little over two years ago, after a sleep study, I was diagnosed with PLMD and yes, stiff leg muscles were definitely involved. It really began to affect my walking so much so to the point where I began to think I had MS (MRI ruled that out). Neurologist said stiff and sore muscles could definitely be caused by PLMD. Since my PLMD is under control through Neurontin (and, I believe quitting SSRI's), my muscles are no longer sore, although my RLS is as bad as ever. Jeff P. 45 in Co. Spgs. stiff muscles and pain Need to know if stiff muscles are part of my PLMD or not . In the last 2 weeks I have been very stiff and alot of pain in larger muscles, this is knew . I notice this alot when driving and when i first get up. I have had the feeling of worms for years from RLS ,but no pain . Is this how it progresses or is this something else. Thanks in advance 37 Arkansas

Guest guest
: Don't know if this is related to your pain, but I have been experiencing lower back pain upon awakening every morning lately. Maybe it's because I am sleeping in a weird position or the Sinemet is working and I don't move at all and then am just kinda crampy. I take a long hot morning shower to try to get my body working again. I don't think I am old enough to be falling apart like this!
