Guest guest
Hi group, recently I saw a post for an 800# that we can call and apply for assitance for medicine. I didn't think much about it at the time but I just found out that an elderly lady I know needs some help in obtaining her medicine. She takes about 7 different meds and she can no longer afford them. If anyone kept that info or knows the link to PLEASE post it Thanks very much. Guest guest
Jan: All drug companies offer free medications to people who fall within certain financial criteria. Your elderly friend's doctor should know about this. The company sends the medicine to the DOCTOR who them provides it free of charge to the qualifying patient. Some doctors don't like to do it because they need to fill out paperwork and then store the meds and hand it out to the right patient and it is too much trouble for them. Have your friend speak to her doctor(s) about the program. I will try to find out where I put my information about this.
