Guest guest
June, How wonderful that you heard from Dr. B-J at NIH! To be honest, I would not have expected you to hear a thing. This certainly is heartening and I hope would indicate that they are moving forward with his research on the enhanced excitability of the spinal cord. It's also amazing that he wants to have you come so soon. How exciting this is going to be for you! I suppose it will be a very short flight to get to the facility from Delaware. Will you be coming in at BWI? I assume this is in Bethesda? How very fortunate that you are able to come on such short notice. Please keep a diary if you can so you can report back to the group when you return home. We will all be keeping you in our thoughts and looking forward to hearing from you. I can't remember where I read this but I understand that everyone participating in the research was treated with the utmost kindness and appreciation. This is certainly news that I am happy to hear as I continue my attempts to get some sleep at 5 am .......I'm so glad I logged back on! Take good care now and learn as much as you can......have a pleasant trip! Rest well, Connie
