Guest guest
Well folks, she's baaaaaaack! I did just great for about two months, having only slight RLS that was very easily controlled. But since Friday night, oh my gosh! We'd had the proverbial Thanksgiving leftovers, and I was trying to sit still on the couch and look at my son and daughter-in-laws photo album. WRONG!!! There was nothing " still " about it. It's been pretty much a 24 hr thing since then, with an hour or two break thrown in once in a while. I've had to go through my " bag of tricks " more than once on occasion....burning my candle, listening to music, stretching, teas, supplements,...never tried the sucker, come to think of it. Hmmmmmm. I've just about overdosed on Minesweeper...a computer game that still takes my mind off life faster than anything. Last night, I slept off and on until about 3:30a.m. Then, I decided it was time to take drastic measures. It's a last resort, I know, but sometimes it's just the only thing that works. Those of you who know me, can probably guess what I did. Yep. I got up and went to my desk and paid bills. It took me two hours to get through the 10 " high stack, but I feel better, already. Mark my words...there will be NO RLS tonight!!!!!! At least, that's the plan. :-) And I'm also going to make the address labels for my 80 Xmas cards, today...that will help, too. This is when my RLS is always the worst, is when I know a ton of stuff is needing to be done, but I haven't started on it, yet. So, now I've started...and as far as I'm concerned, the RLS can just go take a hike. Best wishes to all, Jill, 46 Payson, AZ http://www.netzone.com/~gunzel/rls.html
