orthotic inserts

Hello Gretchen,

I am interested in pursuing the possibility of orthotic inserts for my son.

At the moment he uses arch supports and his shoe of choice is boot-like Doc

's.

Since you live in Southern CA I was wondering if you can share the name of

the orthopedic dr. who suggested the inserts you are using.

Thanks and Gretchen, now I have a better understanding.

I doubt very much that Stefan at SwissBalance would be interested in coming

up to Seattle to help me. I'll see what is available here.

Wish I could make it this Saturday... Alas, I have family coming over for a

visit. I would love to meet you though... Do you ever make it to Valencia?

Btw, do you know if accepts any type of insurance? We are members of

Kaiser so I guess they won't cover a visit to a non Kaiser professional. In

any rate, I plan to pursue either or Dr. Shaack, with or without

insurance.

Dilger can make them , she is WONDRFUL! NDPT@...

She made some wonderful ones for Spencer. They came with a buy one pair get

another pair free in 6 months deal.

I am in Valencia sometimes. It is only about 45 minutes from my house.

dosen't take any insurance. You have to bill it yourself.

I had to call, fax , write , and beg for my insurance to allow her as a

provider just so I could get paid back for paying her. They did say yes

finally. Thank goodness. She makes the best AFOs in Southern Ca.

Blue cross made the exception for me because she is the only PT doing TES.

That is one way to fight Kiaser on this. Lets get together soon.
