Guest guest
I'm a new person to the group. I've had rls off and on since I was a teenager; before that I remember leg aches. It was worse during my 3 pregnancys and has been terrible in the last 5 years. Seemed like it got worse as soon as I began having symptoms of menopause- I am 49 now. I found out I was B12 deficient and take shots monthly now. During the 1st 2 months I took shots weekly and the rls was almost completely gone, but returned after that. Is there any connection or has anyone else had that experience? I was on sinement which worked like nothing else had; then augmentation started and I was nuts during the day if I had to sit for any reason. I have been on mirapex for 5 weeks, .125, and it has been wonderful. I feel so normal!! The dr. thought I might have to up the dosage but so far this is working- no side effects!!! Has any one made a hormone connection?re: pregnancy or menopause? This is really great to hear from so many with this horrendous aggrevation!! Thanks, Chris
