I have always been a firm believer on positive thinking and it's ability to overcome obstacles. I also think there's a genetic/physiological component to mood so some people do struggle more than others with mood and depression. Personally, I am a very upbeat person but in addition to CMT I also have a strong family history of depression and mental disorders so I have seen and lived through both sides of this coin. Some of my family members don't understand why other family members struggle so much with mood and depression... From what I've seen, depression is more debilitating than the CMT if it is not medically recognized and managed. This CMT community is a great forum for getting positive feedback and encouragement from each other.
