Guest guest
I couldn't wait till mirapex came on the market. I started taking 1/2 of the lowest dose in the early evening. I started having a terrible headache at about 4pm every day. I thought it was the mirapex wearing off or blood level getting low. I tried adding another 1/2 tablet of it and the headaches became 24-7 (as the newest phrase states) and went away when I stopped the mirapex all together. So now it's back to Sinemet. I know it works great for lots of people but I couldn't tolerate it. I was so hoping. . . Sweet Dreams to all. O, 51, Medford, Oregon, (the daffodils are out!) Guest guest
Maripex, too, gave me headaches, or so I thought. It still may be the case. For about three weeks, was waking up with a headache. Others on this list also said it gave them a headache. The pine pollen is covering everything here in Southeast Texas, and I think that might have been part of my problem because I haven't awaken with a headache in about five days although I'm still taking .5 mg. Mirapex at night. I thought I read some posts last week about the Mirapex giving them joint pain. Some days I have difficulty moving--hips, knees, feet, shoulders, elbows and hands--all are achy. Have been for a few weeks. I have an appointment with the Neuro on Monday. Maybe he can shed some light on this.
