Hi all

Well Becky if I didn't have such an addictive nature I would take the

morphine in a huff....but as I am the way I am I can't.....I am only

being honest....I get to use to the " feeling good " and I know that I

would fall back into the dependent state I was in once before which was

really bad after my first surgery but that pain was so unbearable and it

seemed after a while what was prescribed didn't suffice my pain so I

felt I needed more (built up a tolerence).......and if I do that...that

is not living either.I am no different with medication than an

alchoholic is with booze..so I am better off trying to live with my pain

but again its what works best for whomever.

> Cathy, sorry but my post didn't mean you alone. I meant it in

general. Yes we are all so different in our CMT our pain levels and our

nature that what works for one, may not be suitable for another. I just

used your comment about being dependent as an example, not YOU being

dependent but the word dependent in reference to making a point about pain

medication being with held due to Dr's thinking EVERYONE will become

dependent. Understand? Sorry I never meant it personally, >Becky M.
