Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Wanted to share my experience of being able to sit through a Broadway play(Titanic). I don't go very often, and it's expensive, so I was determined to not let my legs ruin our outing. So......I took a Tylenol and codeine, plus a Sinamet (both of which I have on hand for emergencies only) about 45 minutes before the play started, and I sat still the entire time, plus was able to endure a train ride from hell on the way home (train lost power and we were trapped for two hours before they sent another train to rescue us). The only down side of being doped up was sleepiness, which I more or less counter-acted by drinking coffee at the same time I took the drugs. Now this is definitely not something I would want to make a habit of doing, but for the once in a while really important occasion, it's a solution of sorts. My husband, who has never seen me sit so still for long, was so impressed - he kept saying, " You did really well " , like I had achieved some sort of hard earned award. If I could have used Jill's concentration techniques to obtain the same results, I would have felt more deserving of his astonished praise. I really don't think I'll ever be able to reach that level of mind over body that some do - my mind is not strong enough, or something. ne, 59, Lawrenceville, NJ ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
