Guest guest
Dear Juli and Lynn, everyone Some people have different sensations with RLS and depending on how it feels, then we use the word that best describes it. I personally usually describe it as " electrical wave " because that's what it feels like to me. My earlier post was meant to say that OTHER THAN the twitching and restlessness and the jerking my legs & arms do day & night, I ALSO get the good old fashion leg cramp were it fully contracts and only with a good, long hard stretch does it go away. Usually my muscle is sore the next day. Then ususally the leg & arms kick in their own 2 cents & on these nights, I might as well be in hell. I don't associate this type of cramp as RLS, personally, because I do some weight resistance training and on the days that I don't do proper stretches before and after workout is when I get cramps. My legs are restless all the time and I only wished one good long hard stretch would make it go away. p.s. if I use capital letters, it is because I don't have a way to use italics or a bold option to hi-lite a point. Thanks for your support and responses to my endless inquiries. Ana Casinha Woodbridge, Ont.
