<< Whadaya say ta that? Well? COCO >>

You are so right, Coco.......this is definitely your decision to make. I'm

not trying to make it for you. I happen to have researched Chelation Therapy

recently for a friend of mine and just thought I would pass along what we

found. I chose this article because I did not find anything good about it

from a reliable source. I'm sorry, I figured you might be interested....

Of course there are risks with prescription drugs, just as there are risks

with uncontrolled supplements and therapies, but usually we at least know

what they are. Life itself is a risk...... " you pays your money and you takes

your chances.... " ......it was my purpose simply to pass along a warning that

I felt some in the group might be interested in knowing about. Normally,

the person recommending these alternative therapies is only going to give you

a favorable analysis.....or they would not be recommending it. It is my

personal method of operating to check out everything I can find...the good

and the bad... before accepting any treatment.

It's obvious that you are not interested in looking at all sides of this

therapy and that is certainly your choice to make. I apologize for sticking

my nose in...........now that I think about it, you did not ask for any

advice from me. I have a really bad habit of jumping in with information

whenever anything new is mentioned. ......I really apologize.......I'll have

to be more careful about that.

Regarding the Quackwatch site.......you certainly have an interesting way of

looking at things. As you might guess, I'm very happy they are there and I

believe they provide a valuable service.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Over time I've read a lot about chelation therapy both good and bad. My own

sister and brother-in-law go to be detoxed somewhere in Arizona I think.

They know the physician from way back when he lived on their mission ranch

in Mexico. She is very enthusiastic about being cleaned out periodically.

I dunno. I do know I wouldn't waste my money on oral chelation. Just

doesn't make sense to me and I'm not to happy about the thought of someone

playing around with my blood supply but then that's just me. Besides, it's

a very expensive procedure. But if anyone wants to give it a go I've got

nothing against them doing it. We each have to make up our own minds about

how we handle the care of our physical selves.

Don't get me wrong. I don't begrudge you your opinion. Or your right to say

it. It just

seemed to me that this person was definitely one sided in his " opinions. " I

don't mean to make

fun of you and your opinions and I didn't mean for it to come off that way. But

I did get a big

kick out of him. And no I don't believe hardly anything he said. If I did I

wouldn't be going

to such lengths to do anything but " regular " medicine. Granted I did try the

Xanax last night

but it brought it on so it's out of the picture now. I just don't seem to do

well with

prescription meds. And I do realize that every body is different. And I would

try presc. if

that was the only choice left. That's why I tried the Xanax because I was so

sleep deprived I

had to have something. PLEASE share all of your opinions in the future. I may

not agree but I

sure want to know all the opinions. I really do . COCO
