Guest guest
Hi everyone, Lamar/52/GA here, I am back on the list after extensive back surgery out of state followed by a severe infection with the antibiotic resistant staph, second surgery and 4 weeks of IV antibiotics. All seems OK now and at least my back pain is gone. I am curious about something. I have done a lot of reading on hyperbaric oxygen therapy after seeing a miraculous recovery in a friend with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy following being treated with it. It is used for CP and MS and brain damage with success even though these are not currently approved for reimbursement. Some information shows other neurological diseases show some improvement, but I have seen no mention of CMT. While I know that it will not correct the genetic defect, I wonder if it could help improve the function of the damaged nerves as it seems to do with other conditions. Have any of you had, or read where this has been tried with CMT??? Please visit " Lamar's Place " , my first efforts at webpages, and sign the guest book. www.angelfire.com/ga2/lamar/ Much more will be added. I am especially proud of the poem I wrote as a result of several dreams. www.angelfire.com/ga2/lamar/poem.html Thanks, Lamar/52/GA
