Hello everyone. I must start this letter off by

saying that this is a wonderful way for people with

RLS to find help and support. I have been looking for

something like this for a couple of months. I am glad

that I found it. I started a webpage in hopes of

finding help, and if you would like to come visit me,

it's at www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Oasis/2597

I stopped taking my medication about 2 months ago (I

was on Sinemet 50/200 twice a day, and Celexa, an

anti-depressant) and I have been feeling much better.

I was getting to be quite depressed, and the RLS was

acting up during the day. It has calmed down a lot

since then, although it still acts up at night. My

husband and I have been sleeping in seperate beds. It

is a rare occassion when we can stay in the same bed

the entire night. My sleep has improved a little, but

I am still tired. Since being off the medication,

though, I have stopped falling asleep during the day,

which is a blessing in and of itself! My question for

the group is this: Since being off of the medicine, I

have been experiencing chest pains. Has anyone else

had these side effects? I have an appointment with my

doctor soon. The pains are not bad and only last a

minute or two.

Thank you for your help and support. One day we WILL

find a cure!
