Did you know that more than half of adults diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes initially present to their doctor already complaining of a diabetic complication - that is why they went to their doc. Type 2 diabetes can " smolder " for years before being accurately diagnosed; all-the-while damaging your body and causing permanent diabetic complications. It would be a tragedy if someone who had diabetes mistakenly thought they had " just " RLS and failed to get proper treatment early enough to prevent those dreaded diabetic complications. IMHO, RLS is a diagnosis by exclusion; in other words, you must rule-out other potentially serious illnesses/diseases/conditions before " assuming " that is is " just " RLS. RAINBOWPED@...
