Guest guest
Dear Todd I was to a sleep clinic about 2 months ago its nothing to be scared of no pain involved at least not for me personally. You must be in bed for at least 6 hours and I was able to watch TV or read or snack. I was given choice of drink in night and in morning. You can take a favorite pillow and I wished I would of had my blanet which is ok to take also. I was a bit chilly or the bed weight of blanets was off. I was in a private room and a visitor can stay awhile and no one watches you it's all read on computers by a person who sits up with you in an other room all night . I had a baby monitor in my room so I could ask the time or get help getting up to potty. I takes an hour to attach a mess of wires to you and they tape a small light to a finger to read oxygen intake. You wear two belts around body.I was gotten up at 6:30 in morning to get ready to go home.It does help to take your bed partner because they will ask you apanel of questions and some can be answered easier for the person who sleeps with you. In the morning your hair will look and feel horrible and will take several wahings to remove glue out of hair. They stick probes on scalp and you may have suck looking marks on neck and face from the round things they stick on your neck and face to hook wires into. We went out to breakfast in morning after sleep study and I had no idea what I looked like until I got home. It looked like I had a real ruff night. And we had an overly old cheerful waitress who even asked us if we were new in town. We live only 10 minutes away. I was a real grump next morning . What more are you concerned about. Ask me and if I know I will answer.Jeanie Stout
