Heme iron has the best bioavailability and it is found in meat/animal products. Non-heme iron has the lowest absorption and it is found in plants, e.g. spinach, etc. Iron oral supplements are usually non-heme and hence, low bioavailability. RAINBOWPED@... Guest guest
Does anybody know anything about Iron(Bisglycinate+)? That's the Iron I'm taking. Within a few minutes my legs settle down after taking it. I also feel a sense of warmth after taking it. It's made by a reputable company. I'm not worried about taking it,just wanted to get info on the type of Iron. Would appreciate it. COCO -- ?_
