Guest guest
In response to the caffeine discussion. I have found that ANY caffeine makes my RLS worse. I had gotten really good at avoiding it altogether and was feeling good too! I took for granted how good I was feeling and started " cheating " on the caffeine...sneaking in a diet coke or coke here and there and every blasted time, my RLS symptoms were worse for not just a couple of hours but almost 24! Perhaps my system is very sensitive to the effects of caffeine now that its been " cleansed " ...hey! Maybe I should never have gotten off of it! I must have had great tolerance built up! LOL. I have found that regular trips to the massage therapist have been very helpful.. Not just in what she does but she is good at showing me new stretches! , 25, Arkansas In a message dated 5/28/99 7:13:13 AM !!!First Boot!!!, clef@... writes: << I even cut out Coke for the 2 hours before I TRIED to go to bed...drank nothing but water from 10 until midnight... >> Doubt 2 hours is enough. I use to be a cola addict (read as caffeine dependent) and I initially eliminated caffeine after around 6:00pm then I moved that up to 4:00pm and then move that up to 12:00noon when my RLS is really rumbling.
