Guest guest
Wow Sue, what a story! Even in this sleepy little valley I live in we had a car jacking a few nights ago. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I always lock my car and house (both have alarms) and when I'm on the road driving sometimes have my dogs with me, some people are afraid of Lillie when she barks. I do think out safety is important. I also keep my cell phone in the car and have a whistle. If I am going away overnight, I tell one of my neighbors and she picks up my newspaper and mail and comes into the house just to check things. Growing up in Los Angeles I learned to be cautious and watchful. But am even more so now.Safety is pretty much common sense, but I wonder if anyone has any good tips on safety for us those of us with CMT? Guest guest
I can beat you Gretchen instead of having a dog in the car, I keep my three boys there - no only joking. I live in a very sleepy village in Shropshire right in the middle of England and so many people have come up to me and said 'what in the village?' Sadly crime does happen in the most remote of places and we always think this doesn't happen to me. A bit like finding out you have CMT instead of being clumsy, walking funny etc. As far as safety goes now, I make a concious desicion to press the button on my car key when I get in the car to automatically lock all the doors to try and prevent the same thing happening again, but it doesn't stop me from noticing a stranger and watching them. So, from my own experience you're not being paranoid just careful and sensible. So listen, all my friends out there take care. :Love Sue safety Wow Sue, what a story!
