Guest guest
a, I have had 3 diagnoses for my hip pain, a pulled muscle, arthritis and a buldging disc. I even had 3 epidural steroid injections that didn't do anything. When the physical therapist explained my left hip was tilted forward and muscles on the right were overstretched, it all made sense. I had Xrays that showed my right hip higher than the left. But I knew that. Then I had an MRI which didn't show any nerve problem and I never had pain down my leg. Just the hip. Drs. think I am a hypochondriac too, and I was about to ask the Dr. for a bone scan. Then the physical therapist said its a muscle thing, so I have PT 3 times a week for 10 weeks and also exercises to do at home. I have been to a handful of Drs. in the last 5 months and no one could figure my case out. At one point the pain was so bad I was begging for surgery.Looks like things are on the upswing now. Have youhaad an Xray and MRI done? That can tell alot. Gretchen
