Guest guest
In some earlier posts, I talked about having been greatly criticized by piano teachers, especially in college, for not practicing enough, when in reality it was the CMT that was the problem, but nobody knew then. Now I can still play enough to keep myself happy, but don't do any kind of technical stuff. The idea of turning my thumbs under to play a scale is really LOL! Totally impossible. But I do enjoy playing what I can play. BTW, I also write music, and I have a portable keyboard right close to my computer. Keyboard has a very soft keyboard, which helps. Then, I just enter what I have written into my music editor on the computer and I can play it back. Now that's a trip! Nothing fancy about my playback - I'm sure someone better versed in the world of high tech could make it sound better, but it's okay, and I enjoy it. Guest guest
Does it matter what other might think as long as you enjoy it - that's the most important thing. Incidently I also play the piano, not much now but when I do, it's for me. Dr Spock in Star Trek used to say 'Live long and prosper' I say 'Play and enjoy' and bless you for your music Love Sue Re: piano/hands > >Date: Mon, 17 Jul 2000 02:06:47 EDT > > > >Hi fellow CMTers, > > > > I have the same problem playing piano due to clawing effect of > >the right hand.
