Guest guest
>I recently purchased a minivan & had a hand control installed. I took the advice of the folks at Adaptive Driving Systems, a local business (in CA) which services & repairs the equipment. Mine is a Monarch Mark < > This company also has a brake only control if you want to use your foot for the gas. And it can be installed for either left or right hand use. < Alice, thanks for the info! Since having a minor accident a couple of years ago because of not pressing the brake pedal hard enough, I've been giving thought to having a hand controller put in my car for the brake only. I can still use the accelerator ok, but do have trouble with the brake. I'm going to have to check and see if my health insurance will cover all or part of the cost though. Can someone else drive the car or van and use the foot pedals even with the hand controls installed? Jim
