Guest guest
Hi Wayne, I agree TENS is great...also I take flexeril for muscle spasms and norflex for my muscle pain....These 2 work well for me the only thing about the flexeril is it makes me sleepy so I only take a half a tablet but only if I truly am in need of it and the same goes for the norflex. I have heard someone mention celebrex in my Family so I will check on that and get back to you on it. SUE......So glad you were not hurt!! You are one brave Lady!! Guest guest
I have been on Celebrex for about 15 months now, it is much easier on the stomach than the previous generation of Arthritus medications. I still take a small dose of Prilosec to counteract the extra stomach acid from years of taking Naprosene and others. Within the 1st two weeks of taking Celebrex, my acid reflux spells in the middle of the night have stopped and I have had only a few relatively minor spells since. I have CMT, and Arthritus in all of my joints, Celebrex works very well on my knees and ankles (both fused) but does not work on my jaw. My jaw pops and cracks alot, Relafin and Naprosene did not work either. Vioxx worked equally well as Celebrex but was more expensive about 9 months ago. Currently I am taking 200MG a day and have not had the popping in my knees and ankles, that I had with Relafin.
