Thanks to all who have responded to my plea for HELP on sinemet, side

effects, etc.

I feel my wife's vomiting problem certainly stems from the use of this

drug.

I might ask one more question re this if I may. She has been on

sinemet/neurontin for a year now. Has anyone ever heard of the side

effects coming on so long after starting this drug? Is it possible that

one can build up enough of this drug in your system that the side

effects aren't immediate but erupt (vomiting) a year later?

I am taking all answers so far with me today to the hospital where my

wife is to show her and the staff a possible culprit of the vomiting.

Thanks again for all responses.

Chuck,

I took Requip for over a year, with no trouble at all. A few months

ago I started having some pretty severe GI problems. After weaning

myself off the Requip, I have had no recurrence of this. I know I'm not

talking about Sinimet, but I believe any drug can do an " about face " on

you, when it comes to side effects.
