Guest guest
I do wake up from time to time through night from PLM leg movements. And my sleep apnea's were considered mild compared to the average person with sleep apnea's and really only a real problem when I slept on my back which I rarely do. Only sleep on back part way during sleep study because it was more comfortable with all that stuff hooked up to me. And the neurologist thought after testing. That my PLM was my major problem of sleep disturbance. So here I am a real person in the flesh with a neurologist report telling you different from this bit of information from an unknown source. Jeanie Stout s note Also, while PLMS-patients are not " totally " awakened by the leg movements, it DOES disturb their quality of sleep and suffer from the same daytime symptoms as RLS patients - fatigue, tiredness, falling asleep, etc. And most of all, PLMS many times reflect sleep obstructive apnea that can kill you and cause significant morbidity, e.g. hypertension, stroke, heart attack, etc. RAINBOWPED@...
