Guest guest
Hi, Pamela and Connie, Connie, I wish you the very best, the very, VERY best in your pursuit of alternative therapies! We each have to find what works for us, individually. And, yes, there is that issue of the power of the mind. Jill and I were wondering just yesterday how much of the RLS symptoms are in our minds; how much it might control the symptoms if we just only knew the power potential of our minds. I'll be so very interested in your adventure, looking for alternatives! Pamela, the DHA neuromins come two ways, depending on whether you mind the fishy aftertaste. One is as Connie described to you............ fish-based omega-3 fatty acids. The other is in the 'neuromin' form, plant-based, but containing the omega-3 also. Jill and I have chosen the plant-based product, not caring to endure the fishiness, and it is working for us. It may be that the fish-based DHA will be much more effective. And some have found that it doesn't help at all! Gob bless and guide you both in your search for what works. am, AZ ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. I will fight that one tooth and nail........it's in the legs.....for sure! I truly believe that some of it can be controlled by the mind, but not the severe form......you would have to be Houdini in my estimation......or at least, a much stronger person than I am. But Hey......that's probably not hard to be anymore.........lol........ Say Hi to Jill for me! Connie

Guest guest
As my night went from good to bad, I tried to keep busy and most important " keep moving " . In reading this post, I hope that you mean you and Jill with that " our " , and not " us " , when you spoke of RLS possibly being in " your' mind. I can absolutely, positively assure you that this THING is not in my mind. I'm sure that you don't really mean that in the truest sense. I certainly hope not anyway. Sure there are times when I can get busy (though they are few and far between) and ward it off for a short while, but I think that is due to movement and not mind over matter. Whenever I do try to stay busy and keep it at bay for a short while, it just comes back with everything packed and ready to go like it's been storing it up and waiting. NO, this is not in my mind !!!!!
